I know I have been neglectful!! But out in the real world it was pouring (figuratively speaking) Around the time of my last entry I resigned from my old job. I decided it was time to try my hand at something new. So I gave my current employer 2 weeks notice and embarked on a blogging hiatus to free my time up for potential job trials and the like. I expected that I would begin these trials around the same time I began looking for work. I forecast this to be at least after my final day so if the cards fell so, I could (conveniently) have a forced holiday. But it never rains it pours and somehow (the powers of the universe are reserved for another occasion) without any influence from yours truly my inbox filled with not one job offer but two. My two dream jobs!! Each from completely different ends of the radar. But life is never easy and the the second offer arrived with just enough time for me have to accepted the first. So now my conundrum is that I have to make a choice, and fast before I end up with no options at all. I hate choices. I should follow my gut it has never failed me before......
......I most confess this is the real reason I have not blogged. My gut is so filled with butterflies and a constant nauseous feeling (associated with anxiety and nerves) that there is no room at all for food!!!! And my mind is so preoccupied with pros and cons that there is no room left to think about it either!!! Alas it is Easter and I feel so terribly slack that I must make a small contribution. I can muster no energy for baking or even cooking..... I have just enough in me for mixing. And so mix I shall. This is a sorry excuse for a recipe but it is tasty and if you have them it is one the kids will love. Lots of chocolaty fingers and bowls!!
(I'm on a ) Rocky Road Easter Eggs
1 packet milk choc melts (replace with dark choc for an adult version)
1/4 packet raspberry lollies (replace with turkish delight for an adult version)

Melt chocolate.
Chop everything else into small pieces
Mix everything into chocolate mix.
